We will give you a comprehensive quote in case you have provided us with all necessary information including full pick-up and drop-off addresses, type of access to both properties, parking restrictions, description of all items to be moved, whether packing service and packing materials are needed, preferable date and time and contact details. You may also send photographs and measurements of the items which have to be moved so that a more accurate quotation can be given. If the planned move is too big or if we are unable to provide an estimate over the phone or via e-mail, we can arrange a fee onsite evaluation. One of our representatives can visit the site at an appointed date and time to assess the scope of the job and give a quotation on the spot or via e-mail on the same day.

If you have items that you cannot pack and move by yourself, you can use the complete house removal services of Izzy Removals. We will do all the packing, load everything in specialised vehicles, transport it safely and unload it at the final destination. We can also unpack, organise and remove all waste packing material from the new site if booked in advance. Everything in your house including furniture, pianos, safe boxes and objects of all sizes and shapes can be packed, moved and placed wherever you would like us to place them.

Prior to and during the move, it is essential that you ensure the following:

• Timely and convenient access to the premises on the assigned day so that the removal service is executed quickly and safely.
• Sufficient parking space for the removal vehicles near the premises. It is your responsibility to make sure that parking permit or vouchers are made available if required. If a parking suspension is needed, it can be taken from the local council and an application should be made for it well in advance.
• Presence in person during the entire process of moving so that nothing is lost, disposed of or left behind.

There are certain things that you should do or get done in advance with regards to clothes, appliances, furniture, fixtures and fitting so that there is no delay at the time of removal.

• In case clothes and personal belongings have not been packed into boxes, Izzy Removals can provide wardrobe boxes and bars at an extra charge.
• You must take down fixtures, electrical fittings, paintings, wall decorations, blinds and curtains and make them ready for transportation before the appointed time of removal.
• Kitchen appliances such as cookers, washing machines, fridges, freezers etc. should be empty, disconnected from the electrical source and secured.
• We do not transport any items that are potentially dangerous or not allowed by the law. These have been mentioned in out Terms and Conditions.
• Furniture should be made ready to be taken out easily from the site. If it needs to be dismantled by us, please let us know in advance so that our staff can come and help you.
